Advisory Solutions for VC & Startups

HubSpot for Startups Onboarding

The HubSpot for Startups programme is an excellent way to get your company the sales, marketing and customer success tools it needs right out of the gate.

It gets you a world-leading CRM at a heavy discount of up to 75% off the regular subscription fees.

HubSpot also waives its mandatory onboarding process, a paid service you can get either from HubSpot themselves or through a HubSpot Solutions Partner like Salween Group.

That can save you thousands of dollars.

But the lack of structured onboarding can lead to a poor CRM implementation, which in turn can contribute to poor adoption and, eventually, churn, a costly process we’ve seen far too often.

The solution? We work with select VCs to provide a curated, self-directed onboarding programme that includes 10 hours of advisory services from our HubSpot Solutions Architects.

For free.*

How It Works

Before signing up for the startup’s HubSpot subscription, we will work with all the stakeholders to ensure program eligibility and determine which HubSpot products are appropriate.

We’ll then work with HubSpot to prepare the quote and send it to you. After a few mouse clicks, you will be the proud Admin of a new HubSpot instance!

Early in the onboarding process, we will send you a link that grants us Partner access to your HubSpot portal. Partner access consumes no licenses and allows us to set up your portal with you.

Next, we’ll have an onboarding call or meeting, during which we’ll deep-dive into your goals and processes and examine the buyer journey from raised hand to revenue.

The objective of that call is to help us customise an onboarding plan based on your highest priority goals with HubSpot, your organisation’s capabilities and your current technology stack.

We then lead you on a curated, self-directed learning path that includes training videos and organised reading material delivered over email.

We provide weekly hands-on operation support from one of our in-house HubSpot Solutions Architects to complement the support you would already be getting from the HubSpot Customer Success team.

We’ll have your back over a two-month period, offering our advice and best practices as you roll out HubSpot in your organisation.

Hack: How to Save Even More

As a HubSpot Solutions Partner, HubSpot looks to us to help them sell their software. If we think the product is a good fit for one of our clients, we facilitate them becoming a HubSpot customer.

We get a commission if we are recognised as being involved in a deal.

As a B2B marketing and revenue operations consultancy, we are not in the business of selling software, and only recommend HubSpot where we think it makes sense.

To demonstrate that we suggest the best tools without bias, we credit the bulk of those commissions back to our client’s accounts.

That means you could enjoy up to an additional 15% savings on your HubSpot costs if you become a paying client later in our relationship.

Next Steps

We would be happy to learn about your challenges and help you decide if the HubSpot for Startups programme can be a part of the solution.

We’ve worked with startups from pre-Series A up to Series D and beyond and are happy to share our experiences in rolling out and maintaining HubSpot and other tools in the tech stack.

Our clients are VC firms and their portfolio companies, as well as Founders themselves.

Contact us using the form on this page for a no-obligation chat. We’d be happy to help.

* Our free offer includes the pre-sales consultation, the onboarding call or meeting (<90 minutes), and up to 10 hours of consultancy delivered remotely over an eight-week period. It is contingent on a signed Proof of Involvement, a digital link that either Salween Group or HubSpot can provide. That earns us the commissions we credit back to you, as well as the points that keep us in the HubSpot Partner Program.
