A Vision for Asia
GGV Capital is a global venture capital firm that invests in local founders and aims to help startup teams win and scale. Since the beginning, the organisation has worked to establish a growing community of listeners with their successful bi-monthly podcast — Evolving for The Next Billion. The team was looking to expand its community in Asia — a recognised hotbed for innovative startups and entrepreneurs — using a new content strategy and digital assets that would strengthen its position as a thought leader.
The task was two-fold: create an inspirational brand position to encourage a new cohort of founders to join the community and produce from scratch a content strategy and all the digital assets, including a content-rich website, podcasts, articles, and support with managed web services and social media amplification.
Content Marketing & Social Outreach
Our team took the lead and came up with a position — The Next Billion — an idea rooted in helping founders to better the lives of the next billion internet users. Next, we created ‘The Next Billion’ website, a content hub that brought the idea to life with rich, engaging content and acted as a valuable resource for a tech-focused audience who wants to make a difference.
To further inspire the audience, we chose tactics such as creating ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions with Managing Partners, videos featuring portfolio companies and well-researched articles on culture, trends, and other industry insights. Channel activation includes a new regional LinkedIn page that curated content from the Next Billion (podcasts and choice reads), relevant news and valuable insights — all to establish GGV’s position as a solid regional thought leader.
