Putting The People First Through Agriculture

Myanma Awba Group was founded in 1993 and over the last two decades, has grown to become Myanmar’s largest manufacturer and distributor of agricultural technology.

We work closely with the founder and senior management with Myanma Awba Group on their Branding and Marketing Communications 2.0 strategy. As part of our ongoing work, we help refine their vision and mission, and articulate that in their external brand and marketing communications. We revitalised the look and feel, applied consistency throughout their advertising and product packagings. We also redesigned their website, again with content leading the way.

Taking it a step further, we created content marketing campaigns to capture our audience's attention and build a positive association with the brand. One notable campaign is "Proud to be a Farmer" that includes agriculture education content generation and commercial partnerships - the most recent of which was with brand ambassador and two-division MMA Champion, Aung La N Sang.

Starting with a content audit and a new information architecture, we revamped the website with a fresh new look and feel, reinforcing Awba's position as Myanmar's leading agricultural corporation.

We led the brand sponsorship negotiations and created a brand marketing strategy around the ONE Championship Fight night. Our team produced and filmed a series of videos reflecting Aung La’s journey and related that to the challenges local farmers face. We also executed a post-event campaign, "Aung La on the road", with Awba to visit farming communities.

Post-event Campaign

Awba x ONE Championship: Quest for Gold

In 2018, Awba sponsored Myanmar national hero and ONE Middleweight World Champion Aung La N Sang in his bid for the then-vacant ONE Light Heavyweight World Title. At the event venue, Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Awba had a branded booth, complete with games and backdrops for photo ops, for Aung La fans to partake in.

Aung La On The Road

Continuing his partnership with Awba, Aung La N Sang took to the roads with Awba to visit local farming communities all over Myanmar. This tour was designed to help Aung La and Awba understand the pain points local farmers face, and enable them to develop more effective programmes to improve the lives of these farmers.

Campaign Awareness Through OOH ⁠⁠— Billboards

As part of Awba's brand persona building exercise, a photoshoot with Aung La created the creative assets for a series of billboards rolled out in Myanmar.
