AI Transparency & Responsibility Statement
At Salween Group, we believe people and human experience power great content. Generative AI (Gen AI) can help us move faster and work smarter, but it does not replace creativity, context, and strategic thinking. AI doesn’t write it. We do.
Where AI Helps
We use paid, enterprise-grade tools to support our work in specific areas such as:
- Research and co-creation (e.g. brainstorming headlines, taglines, or campaign angles)
- Transcription (e.g. Fathom.ai)
- Content summarisation and outline generation
- Copyediting and proofreading (e.g. Grammarly)
- Image generation (e.g. Adobe Firefly)
These tools streamline the mechanics so we can focus on the parts that matter most: strategy, storytelling and creativity.
Human Oversight
Nothing leaves our shop without being vetted by a human. AI may support the process, but every piece of content is shaped, reviewed, and finalised by our team. This ensures:
- Accuracy and originality
- Proper context and cultural understanding
- Emotional resonance with audiences
- Strategic alignment with marketing objectives
Gen AI is a co-creation partner, not a replacement for human judgment, creativity or insight.
Transparency
We’re open about how and when AI is used. If generative AI or our AI tooling contributes to the production of a piece of work, the tools used are recorded in the delivery record in our project management platform, providing both transparency and a clear audit trail.
Ethical Standards and Data Privacy
Our company policy is to only use paid tools with clear commercial licenses and never free tools to ensure we are taking all steps to protect client data and intellectual property. This means:
- All AI tool accounts are tied to salweengroup.com email addresses, with team billing managed by the company.
- Where team accounts are not available or required, individual team members use salweengroup.com IDs and claim fees for approved tools through company reimbursement.
- Service level agreements with our approved tool providers give us visibility and assurance around data privacy.
- Client inputs and outputs are not used to train third-party AI models.
Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property (IP) ownership of assets we create with the assistance of AI tools falls under the same terms and conditions as other assets we create. Clear IP ownership and exclusivity terms are a key criterion in our tool selection process.
